Postgraduate Course in Ultrasound in Health Care

The creation of the cycle of Postgraduate Studies in Ultrasound in health care of the Higher School of Health Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (ESTeSC-IPC) is a commitment of the pedagogical scientific unit and medical image and radiotherapy to enrich the graduates of the areas of medical image and radiotherapy with specialized and in-depth knowledge, skills and competencies in Ultrasound obtained through the combination of theoretical concepts with imminently practical teaching. The scientific pedagogical unit and Medical Imaging and radiotherapy considers that specialized training in this area will provide graduates with tools in order to meet the inherent needs of the population.

The pedagogical scientific unit and Medical Imaging and radiotherapy considering the technological evolution and the needs of clinical and technical updating, considered the need for the creation of this training thus developing the Postgraduate proposal in Ultrasound in health care that aims to increase and specialize knowledge, skills and competencies in this area.
