Course Objectives
Develop knowledge and comprehension skills in the area of management, which develops and deepen knowledge of secondary level, is supported in advanced teaching materials and, in some areas, is at the level of the knowledge of the leading edge;
Encourage the application of knowledge and the ability to understand, so that students show a professional approach to the work developed in the area of management;
Stimulate the ability to solve problems in the area of management and construction and rationale for their argumentation;
Provide the ability to treat relevant information, particularly in the management area, which enables students to substantiate solutions and opinions, including in the analysis of relevant social, scientific and ethical aspects;
Develop skills that allow students to communicate with different audiences in the management area;
Providing skills that allow students to carry out lifelong learning with a high degree of autonomy.
The course presents the following structure
Introduction to Accounting; Introduction to management; Macroeconomics Math Information technologies; Calculation and financial instruments; Financial accounting; Marketing I; Microeconomics, statistics. 1 year mandatory UC
Organizational behavior and resource management; Company economics; Finance I; Strategic management; Marketing II; Management accounting; Finance II; Taxation Operational research; Commercial law. 2 year mandatory UC
Entrepreneurship and business creation; Operations management, labor law, information systems for management; Mandatory UC SDO 3 year
Management control; Public accounting, monetary and financial economics, service Marketing. Optative I (a). 3 year UC optional
Evaluation and restructuring of companies; International trade; Public finances; Optative Quality management; Financial markets, administrative law. Optatives II and III (b). UC 3 Year Optional
Internship/Project. . UC 3 year mandatory.
Access Conditions
Entrance exams (one of the following sets): 04 Economics 30% + 18 Portuguese 20% or 16 Mathematics 30% + 18 Portuguese 20% or 10 Descriptive Geometry 30% + 18 Portuguese 20% Minimum grade: Application score: 95 points and Entrance exams: 95 points; Calculation formula: Secondary school average: 50% and Entrance exams: 50%; Ranking prerequisites – Not applicable; Regional preference (area of influence): Coimbra, Guarda, Viseu, percentage of places: 20%; Housing preference: 10%
