The Office for Professional Development and Pedagogical Innovation (GAVIP) is the result of the merger of two previously existing structures, INOVPUC and CINEP, with the aim of working on the personal and professional development of PUC employees in a unified manner.
Knowing that in Higher Education teaching involves knowledge and skills inherent to the teaching-learning processes that go beyond disciplinary knowledge and that the role of non-teaching staff is often not independent of teaching or the demands of student training, we believe that combining the training of both professional groups in the same structure is an added value.
GAVIP works with the Presidents of the Pedagogical Councils and those responsible for the performance evaluation of the UOs and Services (Social Action and Central Services) to strategically define the training and development of teachers, researchers and non-teaching staff and the pedagogical skills of teachers.
