Course Objectives
This course intends to extend the knowledge obtained in the first cycle and, at the same time, to create conditions for a specialized professional action in an eminently multidisciplinary area: urban construction and rehabilitation, being aimed at solving the problems of the cities. In fact, only technical intervention in the various fields of Civil Engineering, such as: traffic and road engineering, territorial planning and urban design, urban hydraulic infrastructure, structures, geotechnics, the technologies for building construction and rehabilitation, as well as other urban infrastructures will allow the resolution of current and future challenges related to the sustainability and to technological evolution of the cities themselves.
The integrated view, and not just cumulative, of the different areas of knowledge that constitute training in the field of urban construction, allows the graduated Engineer to have a global view of urban surroundings, a situation that very specialized courses does not allow, although it allows customizing the domains of specialization in the interest of future graduates.
Access Conditions
The following candidates can apply for the Master’s:
a) Holders of a bachelor’s degree or legal equivalent awarded by a national institution of higher education institution in the area of civil engineering or in related areas of science and technology;
