A2ES – Student Emergency Support
The Apoio de Emergência ao Estudante (Student Emergency Support) (A2ES) is a SASIPC social support initiative, aiming at complementing the remaining social support services, direct and indirect, providing pecuniary aid to students registered and enrolled in the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (IPC), recognisably in need.
The applications to A2ES are always open, and the students may request this aid to SASIPC, by filing out a form, available on-line.

The Program Resume is a measure that comes under the National Plan for implementation of a guarantee young (NBP-GJ), approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers no. 104/2013, of 31 December.
It aims at:
- allow the return to education and training, in the context of higher education, students wishing to complete formations previously initiated or perform a different formation, in particular by encouraging the return of former students who abandoned the cycle of studies before their conclusion;
- Combating early school in higher education, taking this useful social criteria and employability;
- promote the qualification of young people who are not working, nor inserted in courses of education or training (young NEET)
