SCHOOL YEAR 2025/26

Applications are carried out online through the Inforestudante platform of the Polytechnic of Coimbra and can only be submitted within the deadlines set for the ongoing contest at the time.

In the 2025/26 academic year, the application is multi-course, allowing each candidate to choose to apply for up to three courses in the same form – provided they are taught in the same academic unit – which will be ordered by preference. If the candidate is not placed in the first-choice course due to lack of availability, they will automatically be considered for placement in the next option, provided they also meet all admission requirements.

HOW TO MAKE THE APPLICATION

The application is carried out online on the Inforestudante platform of the Polytechnic University of Coimbra and can only be submitted within the fixed schedule for the current contest.

 

1st step: Register as a user on the platform https://inforestudante.ipc.pt.

2nd step: Fill out the application form in your registered area and upload all documents -> seal and submit the application.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the application submitted correctly on the platform will only be analyzed by the services after payment of the respective applicable fee (via Multibanco Reference or Paypal).


DOCUMENTS

Mandatory documents may vary depending on the applicant’s country of origin. Please consult the full information here.

a) Scanned copy of a valid civil identification document (identity card, citizen card, or passport), with the applicant’s authorization for its exclusive use within the scope of the application;

b) Scanned copy of document(s) proving the academic qualification(s) held by the applicant, including information on the final grade(s): Portuguese secondary education diploma or equivalent, or a diploma/certificate issued by a competent authority attesting successful completion of an education programme that grants the right to apply for and access higher education in the country where it was awarded;

(In the case of foreign documents, applicants must submit documents authenticated by consular services or with the Hague Apostille affixed, and, if they are not written in Portuguese, Spanish, French, or English, translated into Portuguese by a translator recognized by the diplomatic representation);

c) Scanned copy of the results obtained in the ENEM (for applicants who have taken this examination in Brazil), provided that the requirements for its use are met;

d) Scanned copy of the results of final examinations in foreign secondary education subjects, of national scope or officially recognized, which grant access to higher education in the country of origin, in accordance with the decisions of the National Commission for Access to Higher Education in force;

e) Copy of the ENES Form containing the results of national entrance examinations valid for the application (if applicable);

f) Scanned copy of a document proving the level of language proficiency in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as provided for in point (a) of paragraph 2 of Article 7 of the Regulation on the Status of International Students of IPC, or a document proving registration for the written and oral Portuguese language examination; *

g) Any other documents deemed relevant.

Applicants from countries whose official language is Portuguese, or who completed secondary education in Portuguese, are exempt from this requirement.

Enrollment fee: €50

RANKING

The ranking of candidates is determined in descending order of the final score and is expressed on a scale from 0 to 200. The minimum application score for each study cycle is 100.
