Course Objectives
The course of Biomedical Instrumentation aims to prepare professional technicians qualified to install, manage, configure, provide technical assistance, maintain, repair, calibrate, prepare budgets, and comercialize, biomedical equipment.
Access Conditions
Individuals who meet the access conditions set out in Art 40.º-E do Decreto-Lei n.º 63/2016, de 13 de setembro e Decreto-Lei nº 65/2018, de 16 de agosto
Professional Outlets
Install, configure and program biomedical equipment in isolated and network operation;
Test and calibrate equipment against manufacturer specifications or established standards;
Develop preventive maintenance plans for equipment;
Diagnose equipment problems;
Perform corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment;
Develop technical specifications for the development of biomedical equipment;
Develop technical specifications for specifications for the acquisition of biomedical equipment;
Budgeting commercial solutions for customers;
Provide technical assistance to customers, clarifying doubts about the correct functioning of the equipment;
Prepare reports and complete technical documentation related to the activities carried out.
