Tópicos Emergentes em Fisioterapia

Conhecimentos adquiridos nas UC do curso e sobre matérias transversais relacionados com os desafios societais atuais.

Exposição: para apresentar os temas/conteúdos, levantar problemas e orientar a abordagem dos alunos;

Utilização de diferentes estudos de casos para cocriar e discutir os temas em estudo;

Discussão e resolução de problemas em pequenos grupos (4-5 alunos), tarefas comuns ou diversas.

Após completar a unidade curricular, o estudante deverá saber, compreender e ser

capaz de:

Reconhecer tópicos e áreas de intervenção emergentes do fisioterapeuta, assim como os desafios societais do séc.XXI;

Analisar criticamente as novas abordagens e relacionar com a prática informada pela evidência;

Avaliar a evidência disponível sobre os tópicos e áreas emergentes apresentadas.

Obtêm-se, assim, aptidões e competências afetivas: crescimento das áreas emocional/comportamental e de atitude; e cognitivas: desempenho mental reflexivo e conhecimento.

Apresentação e debate sobre tópicos emergentes em Fisioterapia (Exemplos: telesaúde e saúde digital; prática centrada na pessoa; prática interprofissional; advocacia; saúde mental; saúde pélvica; oncologia, envelhecimento ativo e saudável, entre outros) (15 horas) e desafiso societais (Exemplos: ecologia e sustentabilidade, metas climáticas e responsabilidade do fisioterapeuta; valor da cooperação humana no desenvolvimento do fisioterapeuta, violência doméstica e o dever do fisioterapeuta enfrentar o abuso, saúde de género, idadismo como preconceito que pode afetar o fisioterapeutas, entre outros) (15 horas).
