Teaching Methodologies
The theoretical classes are aimed at the detailed presentation of the contents. Use an expository -active
methodology, lectures, presentations with discussion and debate.
The practical part of curricular unit focuses on the view of blades, as well as the elaboration of a cytopathological
report.
The evaluation will include a written assessment, a practical assessment with identification of cases and an oral
assessment.
Learning Results
– Differentiate technical procedures for different kinds of cytological material.
– Identify cellular standards for Gynecologic cytology, serosal cavities and urinary.
– Perform the screening with the interpretation and elaboration of the correspondent report.
