Course Objectives
Develop technical, engineering and interpersonal skills that allow team work, valuing leadership and motivation, oral and written communication that allow the transmission of ideas, problems and solutions to different audiences and the capacity for lifelong learning.
Develop skills related to the development of solutions to different environmental problems.
Access Conditions
a) Those that hold a degree, or equivalent, in the areas of Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Sciences or related fields;
b ) Those holding a foreign higher or equivalent academic degree in the areas mentioned in a) conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according with the Bologna Process principles by a country acceding to that
process; c ) Holders of a foreign degree, in the areas referred to in a), recognized by ESAC’ Scientific-Technical Board as meeting the objectives of a 1st cycle degree;
d ) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the ESAC’ Technical – Scientific Board. This can include students who have not yet completed the cycle of studies leading to a degree, provided that they meet the requirements for the degree by the end of the special exam season.

Learning Objectives
Implement business ideas in the environmental and sustainability areas; implement environmental management tools (life cycle assessment, ecological footprint, risk analysis, energy systems analysis, eco-label); conduct studies to improve the ecodesign of products and processes; develop plans for environmental management, quality and hygiene, safety and health at work; evaluate the functioning of water supply and wastewater treatment systems, diagnosing and resolving operating problems; evaluate the operation of gaseous effluent and solid waste treatment units; carry out environmental impact studies and strategic environmental assessment; manage natural resources and ecosystem conservation; develop spatial planning plans in a perspective of sustainable development; interpret and enforce environmental legislation; dialogue with populations in general, with technical and management staff; update knowledge and show flexibility of action in view of the diversity of environmental problems and the need to be part of multidisciplinary teams.
Access to Superior Studies
Holders of a Master’s degree in Environmental Management will be able to apply for a higher PhD study level.
