Course Objectives
The adoption of a Quality Management System, in accordance with the principles of ISO 9001, the most widely used management system standard in the world, represents a strategic decision taken at the highest level of the organization. This decision aims to achieve specific objectives and improve results, and is a particularly relevant added value when applied to quality management systems.
By focusing on the ability to meet customer needs and expectations, increase customer satisfaction, and improve the overall performance of the organization, ISO 9001 reinforces the core purpose of any institution: to create sustainable value and promote excellence.
The standard adopts a process-based approach, integrating the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle as the basis for continuous improvement. In addition, it incorporates riskbased thinking, promoting both customer loyalty and the competitiveness of the organization, supported by responsible and sustainable practices.
Adopting ISO 9001 is thus a strategic decision for organizations looking for operational excellence and positive impact on their markets.
In this sense, the creation of this course aims to enable trainees to plan, implement and control a Quality Management System, in accordance with the guidelines and requirements of the ISO 9001 reference standard, to know how to recognize the general guiding principles of a Quality Management System; identify and interpret the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard and the stages of implementation of a Quality Management System and also understand the process approach.
