Corporate Training

Teaching Methodologies

The teaching and learning methodologies will be based on observation, demonstration and/or execution of tasks in the host company. For that, the student’s work will be accompanied by an external supervisor, a technician belonging to the host company, who will play an active role in supporting the work carried out by the student. At ESAC, the student will be supervised by an external supervisor, the professor responsible for the UC at ESAC, to prepare the final report and its oral presentation.

Learning Results

The Corporate Training UC aims to provide the student with a first practical experience in a real work context. It takes place in companies, institutions, and entities active in the livestock sector, with which ESAC collaborates and/or establishes protocols. The identification of the different aspects of the host company (production factors, production processes and product quality) and the understanding of its functional dynamics, will give the student an integrative vision of the different areas of interest of the Animal Science course and will motivate him to the learning process. This UC also aims to develop skills for autonomous and teamwork, communication, written and oral, and synthesis of information.

Program

As Corporate Training can take place in any or several of the areas foreseen in the professional profile of a Livestock Science Technician, this UC does not have a defined syllabus.
For this participation and early integration in a real work context does not limit the acquisition of new skills, the student will be guided by an internal supervisor (the professor responsible for the UC at ESAC) and an external supervisor (technician of the hosting entity).
