Teaching Methodologies
The classes are in a theoretical-practical method. A presentation methodology is used for the dissemination of the theoretical material in an interactive way, exemplifying then with practical exercises or activities in the pig production farm of ESAC and in private industrial companies of intensive pig production.
1) In the classroom with Powerpoint presentations, group workshops and videos.
2) In the execution of practical work in the field (HandsOn work at the ESAC pig production unit and in private holdings outside the school), in laboratory (natural reproduction and artificial insemination)
3) In the bibliographic research and in the analysis of articles and reports on the contents of the UC.
