Teaching Methodologies
A leccionação é desenvolvida no formato de mentoria e facilitação de modo a serem identificadas
oportunidades de trabalho/estágio. São também promovidas palestras proferidas por individualidades
convidadas, subordinadas ao tema “From the Production to the MEAL: Eng. António Russo, (TPF Planege); Eng
Luis Neves, (Tetrapack); “Quem se importa”, filme sobre empreendedorismo, Debate; Bootcamp. Ensaio de
“Pitch”; Prof. Regina Nabais e Eng. Luísa Cruz, (SiA).
Seminário: cada um dos estudantes participa ativamente, realizando a sua apresentação com a duração de 10
minutos, seguido de um período de pergunta-resposta e avaliação.
Avaliação: Desempenho durante as aulas/palestras e Auto/Heteroavaliação – 50% +Seminário – 50% – Avaliação
do Seminário: 25% documento escrito, 50% apresentação oral, 25% qualidade das respostas às questões
formuladas durante o seminário.
Learning Results
Explore and explain a particular topic and its application to particular aspects of the Science and Food
Technology.
Interact with guest speakers, asking questions.
Develop the use of techniques of literature and discuss / analyze the results of the literature search.
Demonstrate the ability to organize and present a seminar with the aim of discussing work towards the
attainment of a Vocational Training and the development of the respective report.
Program
Direct contact with personalities involved in Higher Education (Research and Development ) and in the Agro –
Food sector.
Selection of a topic for future Training period and the location ;
Definition of the objectives of the Training period ;
Development of a plan of stage and timing of tasks / development schedule ;
Use of databases for literature , leading the development of literature review on the topic chosen ;
Promotion of professional ambition, negotiating skills , leadership , initiative, plan and management ;
General techniques for delivering presentations . Special case of the preparation of a Pitch , simple and clear
presentation of who’s who , what you want, what makes you unique and special.
Facilitation to look for job opportunities / internship and mentoring .
Fostering of self-criticism and self – analysis review
