Teaching Methodologies
The assessment will involve the delivery, presentation and discussion of an individual project work. Conceive the realization of demand and identification of literature in the area under study (state-of-art); a content analysis and presentation of the final research model. The PhD student should meet with the teacher in charge and the supervisor for guidance and discussion of research work to develop.
The evaluation of the course will be based on a written Thesis Project report and its oral presentation. This document should include a description of the theme of the work, the issue or issues of research, the research plan, and the schedule of work.
Learning Results
The program structure will allow the understanding of the issues involved and develop the skills needed to students to develop a doctorate in Agriculture, Food and Environment scientific areas. The main objectives are:
Empower doctoral students to search and analyze scientific information needed for the preparation of the thesis project.
Promote the acquisition of skills and attitudes of scientific autonomy in the planning and development of an original investigation.
Train doctoral students for the development of individual research work.

Tutorial individual research work (discussion of the topic of research, discussion of the main issues that motivate the development of work and general definition of the theoretical framework).
The process of publishing a scientific research work.
Preparation and defense of the work plan developed during the PhD Dissertation.
