Bioethics

Teaching Methodologies

Expository lectures with audio-visual and interactive resources between student and teacher.
Up to 25% of hours can be taught in remote mode. Students will be monitored throughout each semester with questions as a complement of education.
Two hours per week will be available, with pre-defined schedule with the student.
Teaching support of all the matter taught will be delivered to the student or bibliographical references recommended for each subject, at the beginning of the semester.
Continuous evaluation;
A written frequency corresponding to 75% of the evaluation, whose classification must be higher than 9 values;
A written group assignment, presented orally in the classroom, which corresponds to 25% of the evaluation, whose classification must be higher than 9 values;
The final grade will be the weighted average of the grades obtained in each evaluation and must be equal to or greater than 9.5 values.

Learning Results

– Sensitize students to the ethical issues, particularly those related to health;
– Analyze the ethical implications related to the advancement of technology and medicine;
– Contribute to a better understanding of ethical issues and their applicability in the professional field;
– Know personal nature values and the underlying ethical principles allowing a reflection on their applicability in the profession and in society in general;
– Identify new ethical paradigms and adopt a critical approach in decision making;
– Understand and analyze specific concepts and apply them in the context of ethical problems.
