Teaching Methodologies

Continuous evaluation. Up to 25% of hours can be taught in remote mode.
A written theoretical evaluation with the weight of 75% of the T/P matrix. The written evaluation grade must be at least 9,5 values;
Group work with the weight of 25% of the T/P matrix. The grade of the work must be at least 9,5 values;
Theoretical-practical classes will contribute in 70% of the final grade, whose classification must be at least 9,5 values;
Practical assessment will contribute in 30% of the final grade, whose classification must be at least 9,5 values.

Learning Results

Acquire aural rehabilitation intervention methodologies in interdisciplinary teams.

Program

Considerations for the use and guidance of hearing aids in babies, children, adults and the elderly
Importance of patient follow-up consultations in the aural rehabilitation program and the different steps of this program
Evaluation of the (in)success of an aural rehabilitation program
Programming adjustments based on reported complaints/complications
Application of auditory training in the aural rehabilitation program
The importance of interdisciplinary teams in the aural rehabilitation program: The Audiologist’s contribution
Application of satisfaction scales
Support systems for listening in classrooms; The integration of the hearing impaired child in the education system
Intervention in individuals with tinnitus
Teleaudiology in Aural Rehabilitation
Clinical cases
Presentation of group work
Knowledge assessment
Matrix practice: students will be divided into 4 groups.
