Teaching Methodologies
Description of contents; analysis and discussion of the concepts and demonstration / exemplification of techniques with simulated practice among students.
Assessment by frequency: students are assessed by performing two tests, written and theoretical practice. The success in the course is obtained by the weighted average (40/60) of the marks obtained in these tests. Note lower than 9.5 in any of the tests mentioned, requires the achievement of a final exam.
Review for final exam: the same format as the evidence often during times designated for (normal, feature and special) effect.
The approval for the course is obtained with a result greater than or equal to 9.5
The ratings are on a scale of 0 to 20
Learning Results
ldentify materiais and equipment used in physiotherapy: wheel chairs and walking aids. Justas knowing and following the rules of selection, safety and precautionary related.
– Select and correctly apply bandages.
– Perform safely and effectively transfers.
-Conduct a correct positioning, ensuring the comfort and safety of the patient.
It is intended that the student knows and apply general principies to patient care.
It is intended to develop the psychomotor equipping for the acquisition of manual skill that allows the formation of Physiotherapists safe and effective
Demonstrate mastery of basic manual skills assessment techniques and intervention.

Concepts of universal design, accessibility and assistive technologies
Classification of equipment and technologies in Physiotherapy used in clinicai and research;
Assistive technologies: ISO 9999 Ratings;
Assistive technologies for mobility (Class 12 of ISO 9999): canes, crutches, crutches, walkers, motorized and manuais wheelchairs and systems / accessories for wheelchairs;
Brief Description of Related Services (Selection of equipment, adaptations and equipment in the middle, with clinicai teaching and training in the natural environment of the user evaluation results)
Handling equipment;
Adjust the equipment to the user (basic considerations of ergonomics, biomechanics, and features / capabilities of the user;
Basic Rules of transfers, positioning and transport related to assistive technologies
