Teaching Methodologies
In the Internship option, the student must present and discuss a placement report and the project developed.
In the Dissertation option, a research study with tutorial orientation will be elaborated by the defined research team. The research work must be planned, implemented and translated into a thesis that will be subject to public presentation before a master’s jury, from which the final evaluation will result.
In the Internship option, the assessment is obtained as follows:
– Assessment given by internship monitors (70%)
– Delivery and defense of internship reports and presentation of intervention project (30%)
In the Dissertation option, the evaluation is obtained as follows:
– Delivery and public defense of the dissertation with a jury of examiners (100%)
Learning Results
The Internship aims to provide a comprehensive, applied technical and scientific training, capable of enabling studens to respond to new challenges in occupational health and environment. The development of a project enhances the development of oriented research.
The Dissertation aims to develop the capacity for scientific research, basing practice on scientific evidence. In this way, it is intended that theoretical training fits the state of the art, allowing the students to take more correct decisions from a scientific perspective.
Whether option, Internship or Dissertation, the main objective of this curricular unit is to put into practice the knowledge, skills and in-depth and specialized skills, in occupational health and/or environment.
Program
Internship with the development of an innovative project in a national or international context through Erasmus + mobility;
