Teaching Methodologies
Theorical lectures practical classes are designed to deliver information about complementary testes for physiotherapy diagnosis and the develop ability to understand their meaning in the physiotherapy diagnosis.
Continuous assessment, through evaluation of participation in activities developed in class. Assessment through individual work.
Learning Results
The subject aims to provide students with the ability to:
• Compare and contrast imaging modalities available for the investigation of neuromusculoskeletal problems.
• Justify the choice of imaging modality for clinical problems commonly encountered in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy clinical practice.
• Critically appraise the radiology literature and apply evidence-based knowledge about radiology investigations into clinical practice.
• Analyze images to facilitate diagnosis of common clinical musculoskeletal conditions, based on their imaging findings.
• Practice US use neuromusculoskeletal system.
• Analyze laboratorial tests to facilitate the diagnosis of common neuromusculoskeletal conditions, based on their findings.
• Better integrate radiology and laboratory findings into clinical practice.
