Teaching Methodologies
In this curricular unit, the following teaching methodologies are useful:
1) Verbal Methodologies (say), making use of pedagogical resources: Exposition, Explanation, Dialogue and Interrogation;
2) Intuitive Methodologies (show), making use of pedagogical resources: Demonstration, Audiovisual and Written Texts
Learning Results
It is intended that students:
1. master matrix and determinant calculus in order to discuss and solve systems of linear equations using matrix representation and appropriate methods;
2. deepen the knowledge of analytic geometry in plane and space;
3.understand the concept of vector space, recognize this structure in the most common examples, master the associated concepts and relate them to other contents;
4.identify and characterize a linear transformation.
