Teaching Methodologies

In this curricular unit, the following teaching methodologies are used:

Expository method: explanatory method where facts, concepts, principles and generalizations are defined and presented by the teacher and discussed with the class, followed by demonstrative examples;

Experimental method: active method where the student develops knowledge through problem solving and project development, in group dynamics and individual and reflective work.

Learning Results

Part I – Provide students with knowledge about the process of acquisition and manipulation of multimedia data as well as the development of multimedia applications using the latest tools and technologies.

Part II – Provide students with knowledge about the process of modeling and manipulating 3D objects and developing simple applications using 3D objects.

At the end of the semester, students should be able to acquire and manipulate 2D and 3D content and develop simple applications in which this content is used.
