The following teaching methodologies are used in this curricular unit:
1) Verbal methods (say), making use of the following educational resources: Exposition, explanation and dialogue;
2) Intuitive Methodologies (show), making use of the following educational resources: Demo, resolutions of problems and texts and writings.
Learning Results
It is expected that at the end of the course each student is entitled to:
a) To analyze the company’s production decisions;
b) Understand, discuss and evaluate the company’s costs;
c) Classify, analyze and understand the various situations of market structure, including structures based on imperfect information.
d) To review the operation and strategic pricing in specific markets, particularly in imperfect information markets.
