Civil Service Law

Teaching Methodologies

The classes will be eminently expository, with an oral explanation from the teacher accompanied by slides, videos and texts to be discussed in the classroom.

Considering that we are facing a CU of the 3nd year of the degree, this implies that some participatory initiative must take place on the part of the students, which will be encouraged by the teacher, namely through questions raised in the classroom.

There will be a final written exam.

Learning Results

With this CU, the students will acquire skills in the area of civil service law.

We will address the labour relations in the public sector, where the students will learn concepts and concretization of employment bonds. Due to the themes that will be taught, the students will be able to analyze the the various types of employment relationships, distinguishing them and relating them to the others existing in the Portuguese legal system. They will also be able to recognize the rights and duties of workers in public functions.
