Teaching Methodologies

The syllabus will be taught through theorypractical
classes and through the use of media.
The evaluation is done in two ways, chosen by the student:
Final exam required under the terms and conditions in force at the Institute;
Final exam required under the terms and conditions in force at the Institute more individual work, which will
include the completion and submission of a written and oral practical work case
study that will be distributed at
the start of classes, as well as the scheduling of oral presentations. In this case the final grade will be obtained
from the following weighting:
i. Final exam: 70% (for a minimum of 7 values)
ii. Job: 30% (for a minimum of 10 marks)
Will be approved to discipline those who have a grade equal to or greater than 9.5 and fail otherwise.

Learning Results

The purpose of this course is to prepare students to cope with the increasingly important task of managing
people. To this extent, the syllabus covered, plan in general terms:
Analyze the latest developments in critical areas of Human Resources Division (HRD) and deepen the interrelationships
between these areas and general management of organizations;
Provide a practical overview and current management of human resources, and draw a picture of the
challenges and opportunities presented to those responsible for HRD, as active elements in the preparation,
implementation and monitoring of strategic actions;
Addressing the multiple dimensions on which they can solve problems in human resources, as well as providing
a set of solutions to them, through the practice and learning the “Case Method”, which will be presented and
worked in practical classes . Likewise, for presentation of simulation and performance evaluation models used
in the organizations/companies.
