Teaching Methodologies

Courses are theoretical and practical where themes contents will be presented and illustrated through
discussion of concrete cases. Students are asked to prepare classes previously reading carefully the
references given in each chapter. This previous work is essential to make students fully aware of the contents
to be discussed, to facilitate learning and to improve the final outcome.

Learning Results

• To introduce general problems of entrepreneurship in two perspectives: a) as an economic development
factor; and b) as a management activity of strategic nature.
• To draw students’ attention to entrepreneurship emphasizing conditions for start-up’s success mainly
regarding the new business planning and its products, making the business plan, the new business funding
options and its future management.
Skills to be acquired:
• To identify and analyze the new business idea
• To make a business plan for the new business ;
