Learning Results
This course aims to provide students with conceptual and instrumental skills in the areas of electronic
commerce, including the approach to new models of electronic commerce and business, such as the use of
web 2.0 and social networks.
At the end of this course students will be able to explain the main concepts related to e-commerce, explain the
process of introducing e-business applications into an organization, explain the e-business technology and
infrastructure, discuss the security and law issues involved in conducting business transactions on the internet.
At the end of this course students will be able of practical know-how like to create a portfolio of the steps
required to start-up an on-line business e.g. consultant fees, hardware and software fees, license fees, etc., or
to explain the steps required to set-up their e-commerce website for advertising purposes, to market your own
products or services offered.
