Teaching Methodologies
The UC’s teaching methodologies include lectures, with a critical participation of students, discussion of case
studies, and presentation of scientific papers on the subject area.
The assessment will comprise a the final exam (60%), case analysis (group task, 20%) and presentation of
scientific paper (individual, 20%)
Learning Results
This curricular unit addresses the main topics regarding human resource management and aims at introducing
students to the challenges and Framework of people management within an organizational setting. It is intended
that students understand the strategical scope of present day human resource management, it’s cultural
grounding, and gain awareness of it’s main tasks processes and tools. It is also intended that students
acknowledge the relevance of the human resource function for organizational effectiveness and efficiency and
the links to other organizational functions.
