Strategic Management and Public Policies

Teaching Methodologies

The entire Curricular Unit is taught in a “hybrid” environment, namely at a distance, due to the problem of COVID-19 and with the presence of a limited number of students in the classroom, aiming at a real and effective preventive attitude against the virus. All sessions are online and, in the classroom, with interactive and group management methodologies that encourage debate, questioning and the consolidation of knowledge and skills are prioritized. The use of initial brainstorming as a participatory stimulus will be valued and encouraged as well as research and problem solving. Residual expository methods in close correlation with active methodologies will be predominant.

In terms of evaluation, this will be carried out in three stages. One with the realization of an individual essay written and later presented orally in class; the second for carrying out a critical report that focuses on the essay by one of the colleagues; and a third by performing a test.
