After successful completion of this course, students will:
1 – Know the particularities of agri-food markets
2 – Understand the mechanisms of price formation in agri-food markets;
3 – Understand the role of different stakeholders in Portuguese agri-food market
4 – Know the objectives and main instruments of agricultural policy
5 – Understand the historical evolution of the Common Agricultural Policy and its main instruments
6 – Use statistical and other national and international documentary sources, in order to prepare reports on specific
topics related to agriculture
