Teaching Methodologies
The summary table presenting the study program shows only Lectures (T) and Exercises (TP), but it is intended to use other pedagogical methodologies.
In addition to the expository methodology, used mainly during Lectures (type T) presenting the theories/models , and the problem solving, whether under instructor assistance (type TP) or alone without instructor presence, it is intended to use Case Studies discussions in class and develop small projects (contact with industry) with subsequent presentation and discussion.
The lectures are supported by computer presentations (powerpoint) and exercise classes are hands-on with computer for each student.
Learning Results
It is intended to develop the following generic skills:
ability to deal with complex models describing industrial organizations;
ability to apply the acquired knowledge in solving new problems with increasing complexity;
ability to lifelong learning in an autonomous way;
ability to communicate orally and writing for different audiences.
Specifically, after this course, the student must master the knowledge and tools required to plan, manage and control the production operations, in order to optimize the industrial management.
