Teaching Methodologies
The description of contents is essentially performed in the course of the lectures, using as main support projection of slides or transparencies. In conducting these classes, student participation is often raised by
formulating questions that lead them to reflect on the various matters dealt with and creating opportunities for inquiries.
In practical classes are presented and explored parts of the program which, by their nature, provide an approach to more applied nature. Experimental Works are performed with involvement of students that allow
familiarization with equipment and software used in the fabrication and characterization dimensional surface of mechanical components.
Learning Results
Acquire knowledge to select and parameterize equipment used in manufacturing equipment. Generic skills: Ability to analyze and synthesize, ability to apply knowledge in practice, the ability to organize and plan the work of production, knowledge about the area of study, research capacity, ability to act in new situations, creative ability, the ability to identify, delineate and solve problems. Specific Skills: Must know how to choose the processes must be able to identify the problems that commonly arise in this area. Must learn to analyze the cost of the process. Mastering the phenomena existing in the different areas studied. Interact with multidisciplinary groups and provide comprehensive solutions for proper operation.
