Course Objectives
The Degree in Electromechanical Engineering aims to train Electromechanical Engineers capable of exercising their professional activity with a high level of technical and scientific competence.
This course aims to train professionals with specific competences in the technological areas, developing their practical sense and providing solid knowledge in basic engineering sciences, focusing on the areas of mechanics and electrotechnology, in order to give the graduate an ability polyvalent intervention. It also aims to provide its graduates with adequate training so that they can continue their studies in the following cycles.
The course has a wide application spectrum, allowing the graduates to be able to carry out their activity in the industrial area and in the service area in general.
The Degree in Electromechanical Engineering has a total of 180 credits, distributed over 6 semesters (3 years). In the last semester there is the curricular unit of Project with elaboration of report and discussion.

Learning Objectives
The Bachelor degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering is based on a teaching model that gives priority to the development of competences, through components with a strong predominance in the experimental and design method.
Learning objectives are developed through:
– Performing group work, promoting discussion of opinions, and teamwork;
– Research and development of solutions to practical real-life problems through small projects;
– Written and oral presentation of reports and papers;
– Experimental implementation of practical laboratory work under the guidance of the teacher;
– Seminars and Workshops in which specialized speakers are invited;
– Study visits to institutions in the area.
Access to Superior Studies
Graduates in Electro-Mechanical Engineering may apply for master’s degrees (2nd cycle studies) in the Electro-Mechanical Engineering or in related areas of Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
