Teaching Methodologies

In this curricular unit, the following teaching methods are used:

a) Verbal methods, using exposition, explanation, dialogue, debate and interrogation;

b) Intuitive methods, using demonstration, audio-visual and written texts;

c) Active methods, using group work and case studies.

Learning Results

a) Understand entrepreneurship as a development force for tourism and the economic vitality of society.

b) Understand entrepreneurship as a philosophy of personal life that fosters change and finds in disruptive (technological) changes of the market new business opportunities and personal fulfillment.

c) Develop an entrepreneurial attitude through understanding business objectives and behaviors.

d) To be present that the entrepreneur captures in advance the new market trends and generates new consumption habits through the creation of innovative products and services.

e) Stimulate entrepreneurial potential and learn about the decision-making process and the determinants of business creation.

f) Develop a business plan in the tourism sector and assess its economic and financial viability.

g) Identify funding sources for businesses in the tourism sector.
