Teaching Methodologies
The curricular unit will be taught through theoretical-practical classes, accompanied by a presentation of the positive day of theoretical subjects and the practical part with discussion and resolution of exercises in classes. The research work is carried out throughout the semester under the guidance of the professor.
Learning Results
This curricular unit aims to provide students with knowledge that enables them to understand financial accounting as an information system and financial reporting, essential for decision-making by different users who maintain contact with business entities.
It is expected that at the end of the course the student will be able to:
a) identify the accounting standards applicable to each entity;
b) proceed with the accounting treatment of company mergers;
c) proceed with the consolidation of accounts of groups of companies with direct participations and in accordance with applicable national or international standards;
d) identify the situations that imply the recognition of deferred taxes and proceed with their recognition.

1. Framework of National Accounting Standards (Accounting Standardization System – SNC) and International (International Accounting Standards – IAS);
2. Concentration of business activities;

2.2. Consolidated Financial Statements;
3. Income tax;
3.1. Tax Determination Methods;
