Teaching Methodologies

The programmatic contents will be taught in presenting sessions concerning the fundamental concepts and
the “state of the art” that are inherent on them. The sessions are complemented by videotaped lessons
observation moments and class results discussion. It is also asked to the master’s student to observe and
evaluate practical work concerning their classes’ performance in ecological situation.
Will be used the ESEC e-learning platform and the documents referred for study of the programmatic contents.
The evaluation of this curricular unit will be developed through a work produced under a real context
education process analysis and evaluation scope.

Learning Results

1. Knowledge acquire in the early motor development teaching pedagogy scope that allows understanding this
area teaching process.
2. Know the different aspects related to the most current early motor development teaching methodology, at
process teaching and conducting preparation level.
3. Analyze and practice teaching and micro-teaching simulated situations to improve their pedagogical
intervention.
Skills
1. Know and understand the different aspects related to the most current early motor development teaching
methodology at the preparation of effective teaching and process conducting level.
2. Use the appropriate procedures for physical and playful activities teaching planning in order to organize the
several specific intervention situations and its evaluation.
3. Be able to intervene pedagogically in early motor education.

1. Pedagogical Intervention in early motor development and physical education: model and study variables.
2. The pedagogical intervention and education techniques: class organization, time management, motor
engagement, instruction, demonstration, pedagogical feedback, ambience, discipline and safety.
