Teaching Methodologies

This CU is oriented towards the articulation of content and themes of the learning area of expressions with other subject areas, with a view to intervention-practice, enabling teorico interdisciplinarity in the field of educational activities through an approach of interconnection of expressions, privileging the experimentation, observation and analysis.

 

This CU, eminently practical, has the exclusively continuous assessment modality [100% = 20 values] considering the items:

1. Theoretical-practical assessments (90.0%, 22.5% by EXPRESSION).

2. Presential participation (10.0%, 2.5% by EXPRESSION).

Note: for approval, the student must have a minimum of 40% in each EXPRESSION.

The student must comply with the same previous specific conditions for access to the exam.

The exam consists of a theoretical evaluation: test (100%).

Learning Results

1. To learn to express themselves and to lead physical-motor activities, appropriate to a population, using locomotion forms and objects manipulation, motor actions and expressive possibilities of the body, from spatial and temporal orientation.
2. To learn to express themselves and to lead expression activities, appropriate to the needs of the recipients using techniques of dramatic expression in various functions.
3. To learn activities that allow the children to express themselves through music and that enable the development of listening, analysis, and music appreciation skills.
4. To identify and understand different areas of the plastic expression and the artistic culture though a transverse line and implement creative and interdisciplinary practices oriented to the development in childhood.
5. To explor, through experimentation of the sensory and perceptive impressions, content and learning issues in conjunction with other disciplines.

Program

Study and experiential experience of the following contents:
1. PHYSICAL MOTOR EXPRESSION
1.1. Activities of manipulation and expertise, displacements and balances, games, nature trails and expressive rhythmic activities.
2. DRAMATIC EXPRESSION – DRAMA
2.1. Drama as an element for teaching different areas of the curriculum.
3. MUSIC EXPRESSION
3.1. Musical practice in interaction with other disciplines.
3.2. Experimentation and creation in musical expression.
4. PLASTIC EXPRESSION
4.1.Plastic expression and artistic culture.
4.2. Inductive activities of the plastic expression´s development in childhood.
5. INTEGRATED EXPRESSION ACTIVITIES WITH SUBJECT AREAS
The subject areas of Portuguese, English, Mathematics and Social Studies as references to develop expressive activities.
