Teaching Methodologies

The direct teaching methodology will be applied in the theoretical-practical sessions, in which there will be content presentation and practical case analysis. The indirect methodology will be followed in practical classes, where a radio newsroom will be simulated.
Continuous evaluation:
In-person participation: Students are evaluated for their participation in class work.
Group work: Production of three journalistic genres in class (45% of the grade, resulting from the arithmetic average of the works).
Individual work: Execution, mostly in class, of a radio news (55% of the grade).
Assessment by exam:
Written test (40%)
Technical test (60%): radio news.
All assessment types and components have a minimum grade of 7.5. If not achieved, the final designation is NRC.

Learning Results

By the end of the semester, students should be able to understand the specificity and language of radio, as well as to apply this knowledge to the production of informative texts and radio journalistic genres. They will also have to know how to edit digital audio.
