Higher Technical Course in Technologies and Programming of Information Systems

Course Objectives

The Information Systems Technologies and Programming course aims to train professionals skilled on planning and developing integrated applications on Informations Systems (IS), both in desktop applications as in mobile platforms. The intended professionals must assure that the developed database is integrated on IS providing high performance on accessing data.

Access Conditions

In accordance with the regulation defined on the 40-E and 40-F of Decree-Law no. 63/2016 of 13th September, the following candidates may apply for higher professional technical courses:
a) Holders of a secondary education or legally equivalent qualification course;
b) Candidates who have got approval in the tests performed to assess the ability to attend higher education for those over 23 years old, taken for the course in question, under the provisions of Decree-Law No. 64 / 2006, of March 21st , amended by Decree-Laws No. 113/2014, of July 16th , and 63/2016, of September 13th .
c) Holders of a technological specialisation diploma, a higher professional technician diploma or a higher education degree.
The admission conditions are defined in a regulation approved by the legal and statutory competent body of the higher education institution, previously published in the 2nd series of the Republic Diary.

The Information Systems Technologies and Programming CTeSP course aims to train professionals that can be quickly absorbed by the market, namely who can integrate software development teams and also implement and adapt the Information Systems of basic and medium technology companies that have an Information Technology department. Graduates must demonstrate autonomy in problem solving and flexibility in adapting to new technologies.

The Information Systems Technologies and Programming CTeSP graduates can apply without further evaluation tests to the following ISEC / IPC courses:
