The contents will be worked through theoretical practical classes that include lectures, practical exercises, bibliographic research tasks, as well as analysis of documents and scientific articles.

The evaluation will respect the established in the Regulation of the School of Education. Students will choose the continuous assessment or exam evaluation.

1. The continuous assessment includes the combination of the following elements: individual written test (s) (50%); research and / or application work (40%); resolution of practical problems and quality of participation in classroom activities (10%).

2. The exam consists of a written test on all matters summarized.

At the end of this Curricular Unit students should be able to:

– Search and consult bibliographic information in reference databases

– Build a plan for an academic work

– Elaborate an academic essay and present it in the form of an article or scientific communication

– Use the bibliographic citation standards of the APA
