Teaching Methodologies
TP contents are developed through expository methods, flipped classroom, and problem/project-based learning. PL contents are presented through demonstration, observation/correction, experimentation/reflection, field trips, and cooperative and collaborative learning.
The assessment process will be carried out by continuous assessment or by examination.
By continuous assessment:
1) TP assessments (60%)
2) PL assessments (40%)
The exam will consist exclusively of a TP test (100%).
Learning Results
Develop knowledge, skills and competences in terms of the historical, conceptual and organizational framework related to Active Tourism (AT) activities, so that students can:
1. Know, understand and critically analyze historical, social and cultural trends, that led to these practices and their evolution in the different countries and more specifically in Portugal
2. Contextualise and articulate the key concepts of AT
3. Identify the profile, roles and training of professionals in AT activities
4. Understand and analyze the legal framework of AT activities
5. Understand and apply the methodological tools for planning and managing programs, projects and events related with AT activities
6. Promote and foster, in safety, AT activities
