The methodology will be expository using exemplification and whenever possible visits will be made to local farms.

Continuous assessment: –

1 test for the first module -M1 – 50%

1 test for the second module – M2 – 50%

Final Grade = M1*0.5+M2*0.5

Learning Results

1- Know the diversity of production systems for fruit, vegetables, crops, and herbs (edible or medicinal), and how production method condition quantity and quality, referring examples of National cultivars.

 2- Identify determinant aspects of quality from products of plant origin, which are related with the genotype or the environment, and verify the potential of quality labels in their promotion.

3- To know the diversity of animal production systems and how production method condition the quantity and quality of animal products, referring examples associated with indigenous breeds.

4- Identify determinant aspects of quality from products of livestock origin, which are related with the genotype or the environment, and verify the potential of quality labels in their promotion.
