Anatomy and Physiology of Animals I

The student must have knowledge of biology, chemistry and English language of the secondary level.

1. Theoretical descriptive exposition;

2. Practical class by projection of examples of different types of visceral tissue cells – Respiratory, Blood, Digestive, Urinary, ETC, Skin and Muscle

3. Practical demonstration classes with skeletal models of animals, bones and handling of muscle tissues;

4. Bibliographic research and analysis of articles and reports on the contents of the UC.

1. Know the exterior of the animal, skin and attachments, and mammary gland with an interspecies overlook.

2. To know the general musculoskeletal organization, that of posture and stance, and its deficiencies, the anatomical structure of the animal pelvic region and its links to the birth process;

3. Know the physiology of the skin and bones, joint and muscle physiology, the ossification process and calcium metabolism

1) Exterior of the animal, skin and appendages, its anatomophysiology and practical applications;

2) Skeletal, joint and muscular organization;

3) Animal position, stance and their deficiencies;

4) Bone physiology (and calcium), joint and muscle metabolism.
