1. Objectives: to understand how a spreadsheet works and the potential of its application to the resolution of real problems, in the several fields addressed throughout the course.

  1. Fundamentals of Microsoft Excel  (version 2021/Office 365).
  2. Formulas and functions.
  3. Information organization.
  4. Charts.
  5. Advanced data analysis: pivot tables and pivot tablesscenarios; goal-seeking.
  6. Importing and exporting information.
  7. Excel programming: automation of tasks through Macros; Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming language.
