Communication Networks in Biomedicine

Teaching Methodologies

The course will have expositive classes by a teacher or invited speaker.
There will be laboratory work in order to:
– Understand, analyse, design, and implement (using simulators or experimental setups) wired and wireless local area networks using TCP/IP.
– Design and implement wireless sensor networks.
– Configure services software in networks.
– Develop small software network applications.
Assessment: One final written exam. Small written research works on specific themes.
