Teaching Methodologies

Theoretical-practical classes for discussion of the theoretical foundations of the UC and realization of the various stages of a work of community animation by the students.

Periodic Assessment — Assessment that takes place throughout the academic semester and which consists of a more theoretical individual component of written test with a weighting of 50% of the final grade and a more practical component of group work, with weighting 50% of the final grade.

Assessment by Exam — Assessment method that takes place at the end of a training period, through an individual written test with 100% weighting in the final grade.

 Students whose final grade is equal to or greater than 9.5 will be approved.

Students who obtain a classification between 7.5 and 9.4 in the exam modality will be entitled to a complementary oral test, and in this situation, the final grade will correspond to the average of the obtained classifications.

To understand the distinction between Community and Society, in the evolution of Western societies and in post-modernity

To program socio-educational community development activities according to the specificity of their recipients, scopes, contexts and objectives

Use non-directive and participatory pedagogies that support the progressive empowerment and autonomy of the community

To develop strategies articulating different formal and non-formal educational agents, establishing partnerships with different actors

To elate sociocultural diversity with the identity and appreciation of the community

To operationalize participatory diagnostic, intervention and evaluation techniques

Streamline meetings in their different modalities in the context of group work

To know the information/training tools as well as the rules for preparing the different types of documents

To design different types of materials to support interventions in the context of Socio-Educational Animation
