The contents of the course is presented through examples. (expositive method)

Students solve exercises to practice solving different types of problems. (experimental method)

Learning Results

After attending the course, each student is expected to be able to efficiently use the computer to solve different types of problems:

  • Use spreadsheets to automate calculations and procedures;
  • Design a database in the relational model and create a database in Access keeping the integrity rules;
  • Create different types of queries in an Access database;
  • Use a vector CAD system for graphical representation.
