Teaching Methodologies

Since this is a workshop, this course will involve the use of methodologies that promote effective participation of the student in the teaching – learning process, using up, to this end, the study/work visits, the organization of an animation project, the organization of activities aimed at cultural heritage animation. The evaluation was organized according to the Academic Regulation of the 1st cycle of studies of the IPC. In this sense, the continuous evaluation will be based on the organization of practical works to be undertaken by the student, inside or outside the classroom (40%), and the conception/ intervention in a project based on the cultural heritage (60%). A evaluation by examination is based on the achievement of a single written test to be carried out at the end of the semester.

Learning Results

1- Demonstrate the dynamic character of the concept of patrimony.
2- Relate patrimony with the identity building processes.
3- Recognise the importance of the patrimony to the development of a community.
4- Explain specifications of the local cultural patrimony and ways of appreciation and cultural animation.
5- Identify the adequate legal norms, institutions, means and instruments to the development of a project of cultural animation of the patrimony.
6- Plan activities and projects that dynamise the local cultural and/or natural patrimony with specific target groups.

2. Typology and protection of heritage.
3. Valuing and promotion of heritage: techniques and resources of cultural animation of the heritage.
4. Conception/ Intervention in a cultural heritage animation project by designing activities targeting specific groups.
