Teaching Methodologies

The program contents will be developed through the use of:

– theoretical exposition sessions

– practical demonstration sessions

– sessions of analysis of different products and contents

– Identify functions within audiovisual production

– Know the stages of pre-production, production and post-production

– Elaborate scripts for the realization of different contents

– Handling video cameras

– Know the functioning of a television studio

– Use equipment and post-production software

– Develop different audiovisual content 

Program

1. INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL VIDEO PRODUCTION

– The different stages of audiovisual production: pre-production, production and post-production

– Audiovisual production processes and techniques

– Analysing images in terms of framing, angle, composition and lighting

– Camera movements

2. IMAGE CAPACITY AND UTILIZATION TELEVISION STUDIO

– Studio equipment: image, sound, lighting

– The video camera: constituent elements and operation

– Chroma-key and the use of virtual sets 

– Basic principles of directing

– Script preparation

3. DIGITAL VIDEO POST-PRODUCTION

– Introduction to Davinci Resolve editing software: presentation of the working environment, transitions, video effects, colour corrections and framing, graphic and sound effects, creation of titles, texts and subtitles

– Creating and applying different virtual scenarios

– Understanding editing in its twofold aspect: technical mastery of editing software and artistic sensitivity

– Editing techniques adapted to content, format and objectives
