Dissertação (2A2S)

The recommended base knowledge includes both the degree that provided access to the Master’s degree and the Curricular Units of the Master’s teaching aspect.

The teaching methodologies to be used throughout the different phases of the Project, Internship or Dissertation should be defined by the teaching staff, in accordance with the intended objectives and the student profile.

To develop the student’s ability to plan and organize a Dissertation, Project or Internship, throughout an academic year, through the definition of partial objectives, well defined in time, with a pragmatic schedule, leading to the successful completion of a Thesis or Report;
To provide the student with the opportunity to demonstrate their autonomy and creativity;
To apply the knowledge and techniques acquired during the course;
To complete the student’s training, with the necessary skills to pursue a professional career in Engineering and Physical Asset Management.

1. Product, process or system project in an organization external to ISEC, which may include two supervisors (one from the company and the other from ISEC);
2. Internship (in a company), which takes the form of an internship report;
3. Dissertation (R&D), which takes the form of writing a Master’s Thesis.

The bibliography and other specific study elements for each project, internship or dissertation will be indicated by the respective teaching staff and also as a result of the research carried out by the student.
